Simrad Halo Radar delivers cutting-edge marine radar performance using solid-state Pulse Compression technology. This technology blends traditional pulse radar with broadband FMCW characteristics to offer high target resolution, long-range detection, and reduced onboard clutter. The radar antennas come in 3, 4, and 6-foot options, providing versatile installation choices for various vessel sizes.

Halo Radar boasts rapid start-up times (16-25 seconds), advanced digital signal processing for sidelobe reduction, directional sea clutter rejection, and forthcoming sector blanking for clearer radar displays. The system supports multi-target tracking (up to 10 targets, or 20 in dual range mode), MARPA functionality (GPS and heading sensor required), and customizable operation modes including Harbor, Offshore, Weather, and Bird.

Compatible with Simrad NSS evo2 and NSO evo2 multifunction displays, the system offers intuitive integration through Ethernet, low power consumption, and rugged water-resistant construction. Unique blue LED accent lighting enhances aesthetics and visibility on the radar pedestal.
