Product Description

The Simrad A2004 is a professional-grade, commercial marine autopilot system designed to deliver responsive and precise steering control for a variety of vessels. Featuring Continuum steering technology, it provides smooth, fuel-efficient, and hands-free maneuvering tailored to the vessel’s control characteristics. The system is built around a large heavy-duty rotary control dial and an optically bonded 4.1-inch color display with a wide 170° viewing angle, offering excellent visibility with reduced glare and no internal condensation.

This system supports thruster integration and heavy-duty rudder feedback, configurable work and speed modes, automated turn patterns, and No Drift steering to maintain course against wind and tide. Its modular design allows selection of different packages tailored to operational needs, from full autopilot packs with GPS compasses to standalone control units. Certified for NMEA 2000® connectivity, the A2004 integrates smoothly with other onboard electronics. It is designed for ease of use even in wet or gloved hands, making it ideal for fishing vessels, workboats, and commercial craft.
