Overview

Blue Sea Systems ML-ACR relays automatically manage charging of two large battery banks, enabling paralleling of batteries for emergency starts while isolating them during discharging or engine starts. These relays feature a magnetic latching (bi-stable) relay drawing very low current in "ON" and "OFF" states, with dual sensing of charge on both battery banks. Manual control switches provide additional safety with LOCK OFF capability for servicing.

• Automates combining and isolating of two battery banks during charging and discharging

• Supports 500 Amp continuous rating for high-output alternators

• Magnetic Latch (ML) with very low current draw (<40mA monitoring) in stable states

• Dual sensing charge on both battery banks

• Start Isolation (SI): isolates House and Engine loads during engine cranking to protect electronics

• Engine Isolation (EI): isolates two running engines to protect electronics and maximize alternator output

• Manual control switch for operation with/without power and lock-off for safety

• Silver alloy contacts provide high reliability for switching live loads

• 3/8" - 16 (M10) tin-plated copper studs for excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance

• Remote LED output indicates status: combined, isolated, voltage lockout, Start or Engine isolation
