Furuno GP1971F and GP1871F Multi Touch Chart Plotters with Fish Finder

The Furuno GP1971F and GP1871F combine advanced multi-touch GPS/WAAS chart plotting with built-in CHIRP and conventional fish finding technology. Both units feature a consistent, all-glass design with intuitive slide-out menus and edge-swipe gesture controls, allowing easy access to chart, sonar/fish finder, and radar overlay functions.

These chart plotters integrate a high-sensitivity 72-channel GPS receiver with WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS satellite augmentation support and include internal antennas. Compatible worldwide cartographic databases such as C-MAP 4D enable rich navigation data including relief visualization, tidal streams, and marine planning.

The built-in TruEcho CHIRP fish finder transmits at 300 W, 600 W, or 1 kW (transducer dependent) utilizing a wide frequency spectrum to achieve high-resolution detail, fish species separation, and clear bottom discrimination. Additional features include Accu-Fish for fish size estimation and Bottom Lock zoom.

Radar overlays are possible via wireless connection with the Furuno DRS4W 1st Watch Wireless Radar, enhancing situational awareness with radar data accessible on the plotter or handheld devices.

Autopilot control integration with NavPilot 300 and NavPilot 711C is supported through CAN bus interfaces, enabling direct autopilot command from the chart plotter.
