The OLAS Guardian is a wireless engine kill switch system that simultaneously acts as an instant man overboard (MOB) alarm. Designed for recreational and commercial boating, it connects up to 25 OLAS transmitters worn by crew members, creating a virtual kill cord that automatically stops the engine within two seconds of disconnection, helping prevent accidents from unmanned vessels. The Guardian emits an 85 dB audible alarm and an ultra-bright red LED visual alarm (55 lumens). It operates on 12/24V wiring with a color-coded control switch and offers features such as automatic engine restart after 5 seconds, relay selection via the OLAS mobile app, connection status alerts, and pause mode. The system covers vessels up to 50 feet, expandable to 80 feet with the OLAS Extender. It is waterproof (IP67), uses Bluetooth 4.2/5.0 technology, and is easy to operate.

The OLAS N2K is an advanced MOB alarm and wireless engine kill switch integrating with the vessel’s NMEA 2000 network for enhanced alert dissemination. It tracks up to 25 OLAS transmitters on vessels up to 50 feet, extendable to 100 feet with the Extender. The N2K features an 85 dB alarm, 55 lumen LED output, and supports automatic engine restart after 5 seconds. It provides multiple user modes for default cut-off and alert, alert only, crew tag, helm tag, and solo mode with automatic SOS texting via 2G mobile signals. The N2K communicates over Bluetooth 4.2/5.0 and ensures compliance with boating safety regulations.
