Product Description

The ACR ResQFlare is a USCG-approved LED electronic distress flare designed to replace traditional pyrotechnic flares for vessels up to 65 feet in US waters. Paired with the included distress flag, they comply with both day and night visual distress signal carriage requirements.

The ResQFlare features 360-degree visibility with bright LED strobe light visible over 6 miles, automatically rights and floats without a flotation ring, and uses user-replaceable C-cell alkaline batteries. It maintains a minimum 75 candela peak equivalent fixed intensity for 20+ hours, exceeding USCG minimums by more than 3 times. The flare is fire, oil, fungus, and corrosion-resistant, waterproof to IP67 standards, making it durable in maritime conditions. The distress flag offers multiple daylight signaling options.

The advanced ResQFlare PRO model meets RTCM 13200.0 standard for electronic visual distress signals, features multi-color LEDs for enhanced visibility, and includes an infrared strobe for use with night vision devices. It has over 8 miles visibility, a luminous angle of 180°, and an operational life of at least 3 hours at 50 cd average effective intensity, exceeding RTCM requirements by 50%. The PRO model includes a mounting bracket, lanyard, and distress flag.
