The Airmar B175 series comprises high-power, CHIRP-ready bronze thru-hull transducers designed for boats 8 m (25’) and above with fiberglass or wood hulls. These transducers have ceramic elements permanently tilted inside the housing to compensate for hull deadrise, ensuring the sonar beam is aimed straight down for optimal echo returns, eliminating the need for fairing. Flush/tilted mounting through hulls ensures a clean, efficient installation with the fitting flush against the exterior hull surface.
