Airmar B175MW Medium Ultra-Wide CHIRP-Ready Tilted Element™ Thru-Hull Transducers with Mix-N-Match Cables
Product Description
The Airmar B175MW series are medium-frequency (60-100 kHz) CHIRP-ready, ultra-wide beam tilted element thru-hull transducers designed for excellent mid-depth fishing and target separation with powerful 1 kW output. These transducers feature an ultra-wide beamwidth of 57° to 73° port-to-starboard and a 16° average fore-aft, providing maximum sonar coverage beneath the vessel. Available in fixed tilt angles—0°, 12°, and 20°—they are tailored for hull deadrise angles ranging from 0° to 7°, 8° to 15°, and 16° to 24°, respectively. This ensures optimal vertical positioning of the ceramic transducer element for maximum echo returns and performance.
Housed in bronze, these transducers are built for use on stepped, planing, or displacement hulls made of fiberglass or wood. The low-profile thru-hull construction maintains excellent resolution at speed, and the unit includes depth and fast-response water temperature sensors. The Mix-N-Match cable system facilitates flexible connectivity, currently compatible with Garmin GSD28 systems for bare-wire versions.
