The Airmar B175 series with a 20° tilted element is designed for boats 8 m (25’) and above, featuring bronze thru-hull construction for fiberglass or wood hulls. The permanently tilted ceramic elements in the housing compensate for hull deadrise angles between 16° and 25°, ensuring the sonar beam points straight down for maximum and accurate echo returns without requiring a fairing.

These flush-mount transducers operate in high-frequency CHIRP bands for detailed fish and bottom imaging, with the wide beam variant providing twice the under-boat coverage for superior fish detection.
