The Furuno FI70 instrument series is designed for both sail and power boaters seeking economical, professional-grade instrumentation. The FI70BW Basic Wind Package provides accurate wind speed and direction data, while the FI70DSW Depth/Speed/Wind Bundle adds water depth and vessel speed measurement for a comprehensive solution.

The FI70BW consists of the FI5001 Analog Wind Sensor capable of detecting wind angle with better than ±10° accuracy and wind speed better than ±5% at 20 knots. The FI70DSW includes the FI5001 Wind Sensor along with the DST-800PSF Depth/Speed/Temperature Sensor, capable of measuring water depth, speed through water, and temperature at a 235 kHz frequency.

Both packages feature the FI70 Digital Data Display, a 4.1" color LCD instrument with a bright, sunlight-readable screen, supporting NMEA2000 CAN bus networking for easy integration with Furuno NavNet systems or standalone use.

Each package includes the IF-NMEAFI Analog-NMEA2000 Data Converter and the FI5002 NMEA2000 Junction Box for simple installation and compatibility with other navigation electronics.
