The Furuno NAVPILOT711 series are revolutionary, self-learning, adaptive autopilots with bright, sunlight-viewable color day/night displays designed for various vessels. These systems dynamically adjust steering parameters such as vessel speed, trim, draught, tide, wind effects, weather, and more. These parameters are stored and continuously optimized, resulting in enhanced course-keeping accuracy.

The autopilots incorporate the optional SAFE HELM and POWER ASSIST features, providing a unique interface to the vessel’s hydraulic hand steering system—significantly reducing manual helm effort and improving steering comfort and safety. POWER ASSIST mode offers speed-based power-assisted steering that can reduce the need for more complex power steering systems.

The FishHunter™ mode uniquely enables automated maneuvers (square, zigzag, circle, orbit, spiral, figure-eight) around sonar- or radar-detected fish or bird targets, and functions in Man Overboard (MOB) scenarios.
