Product Description

The Icom M510BB is a space-saving black box VHF marine radio system that combines advanced safety, communication, and AIS receive capability, ideal for commercial and leisure vessels. The RF unit is installed out of sight and all radio, DSC, and AIS operations are handled via the supplied CommandMic™, which can be installed up to 60 ft (18.3 m) from the RF unit. The system supports up to three CommandMic™ stations, allowing communication points to be extended throughout the vessel, including intercom functionality between stations. The integrated AIS receiver provides target info on the CommandMic™ and can output data to the NMEA 2000® bus for display on compatible MFDs. A last-call voice recording feature saves up to two minutes of incoming audio, and the Active Noise Cancelling function ensures clear communications by reducing background noise. The radio supports USA, INT, CAN, and WX channels and can broadcast or sound foghorn patterns through an external hailer speaker.
