Product Description

Lewmar Anchor Safety Straps provide essential secondary security to prevent unintentional anchor deployment due to accidental windlass release or power failure. These PVC-coated stainless steel straps with caribiner clips attach easily to chain, shackle, or anchor itself, serving as a fail-safe measure without securing the anchor tightly in the bow roller. Both models measure minimum 305mm (12") in length, with the 66840028 offering heavier 4mm cable and larger 8mm clip for increased strength capacity. Lewmar recommends always securing anchors separately when not in use, as windlasses are not designed for storage holding.
