Product Description

The Lewmar H3 Series horizontal windlasses are designed for boats from 12m to 15m (40-50ft), featuring integral dual-direction contactors within the deck unit for simplified wiring and protection. These stylish low-profile units use electro-polished stainless steel rode management systems for both rope and chain handling, with dual-direction operation for complete raising/lowering control. The H3G offers gypsy-only configuration, while the H3GD includes a stainless steel warping drum with Wear & Abrasion Reduction Pattern finish. Both models support 8mm (5/16") chain (BB, US G4 ISO, DIN 766, ISO 4565) and 14-16mm (9/16-5/8") 3-strand/8-plait rope, with reed switch and magnet for chain counter compatibility.
