Product Description

Maxwell RC8 series vertical windlasses feature patented Wave Design™ gypsies that accommodate chain pitch variations and smooth rope/chain splice handling, with heavy-duty stainless steel (AISI 316) pressure arms, chromed bronze construction, and sealed oil bath gearboxes for reliable performance. Designed for simple two-piece installation through any deck thickness, these 12V models include manual override/free fall capability, through-deck hawse pipes, and require chain stoppers for secure anchoring.
