Product Overview

Minn Kota Riptide Fortrex 80 features a stainless steel, nitrogen-charged Lift-Assist gas spring making stow and deploy extremely easy and smooth. Its Mono-Arm Design with a rugged, extruded, anodized aluminum arm ensures unmatched strength, reduced wear, longer motor life, and quieter performance. The integrated Counter-Tension Stabilizer spring applies constant pressure whether the motor is stowed or deployed, resulting in no play or give and a motor with reduced steering torque for silent, precise operation.

The motor includes a Tilt/Extend Tiller offering up to 45° tilt and 6" extension for maximum comfort. The removable Bowguard 360™ protects the motor and boat by breaking away upon impacts and automatically resetting. Quick-Lock Cam Depth Adjuster enables easy, secure depth changes that lock in place.

Equipped with Digital Maximizer™ technology, it provides up to five times longer run times on a single charge by delivering power precisely as needed. The Push-to-Test Battery Meter allows instant battery level checks with the push of a button. The Weedless Wedge 2 Prop cuts through thick vegetation without draining your battery.

Advanced corrosion protection with armor plating, powder coating, and marine-grade urethane encapsulates the electronics to guard against saltwater damage, supported by sacrificial zinc anode protection.
