The Shakespeare Style 393 is a three-section, 23-foot SSB whip antenna designed for convenient shipping and handling while maintaining industry-standard performance. It features full-length conductors with no loading coil, permanently sealed within a white fiberglass radome for durability and weather resistance. It is rated for up to 1000 watts of input power and covers the SSB frequency range from 2 to 30 MHz, resonating at approximately 10.8 MHz. The antenna includes a chrome-plated brass ferrule with a standard 1-inch 14-thread mount and a side feed termination band. Suggested mounts include Styles 409-R or 410-R kits (sold separately) for deck or side mounting. Each section measures 92 inches.

The Style 390 is a two-section, 23-foot whip antenna that offers award-winning performance and is considered an industry standard. It shares the same frequency range, power rating, fiberglass radome, chrome-plated brass ferrule, and side feed termination band as the 393. The difference lies in the sectioning for shipping and assembly convenience, with the base measuring 162 inches and the tip 112 inches. Mounts and mounting kits are similarly available separately.
