Product Description

The Shakespeare Galaxy Style 5228 series consists of high-quality, heavy-duty extension masts constructed from durable white fiberglass with a 1-inch (25.4 mm) diameter. Designed to match Galaxy antennas, these masts enhance antenna height to increase operational range or raise the antenna above vessel obstructions. They are ideal for light to moderate marine applications and particularly suited for GPS and TV antennas.

Each mast section is a single piece: 12", 24", 44", or 95" in actual length corresponding to model numbers. Stainless steel ferrules at both ends with standard 1 inch-14 thread provide secure mounting. For total antenna and mast lengths exceeding eight feet, an upper support bracket (sold separately) is recommended for additional stability. Compatible mounting kits include Shakespeare Style 409-R or 410-R (sold separately), with suggested mounts 4187, 5187, 409-R, or 410-R depending on mast length.
