Product Description

The Shakespeare Dorsal™ series offers a low-profile, fin-shaped marine VHF antenna designed for short-range applications up to approximately 10 miles. The antennas feature a compact design measuring 4" high by 2.3" wide by 2.5" deep, making them ideal for installations where minimizing protrusion and the risk of snagging is critical. Constructed with a durable, high-impact ABS body sealed with a rubber gasket, they ensure longevity and resistance to harsh marine environmental conditions.

Included with each antenna is a 26-foot RG58 coaxial cable terminated with a standard PL-259 connector to facilitate easy integration with marine VHF radio systems. Both models have a gain of 0 dB with a maximum input power of 25 watts. They do not possess DC grounding (read open in continuity tests) and come with a 2-year limited warranty.
