Product Description

The Simrad XSONIC SS164 transducers are high-performance stainless steel models specifically designed for metal-hulled boats such as fast tournament-sportfishing vessels without the need for a high-performance fairing. Utilizing innovative Tilted Element™ technology, these 1 kW RMS transducers deliver powerful and accurate depth and temperature readings with minimal hull protrusion (less than 6.35 mm or 0.25 inches), allowing safe contact with trailer rollers and bunks without damage.

The ceramic arrays inside the housing are tilted to provide a perfectly vertical beam with maximum energy directed directly below the boat, optimizing fish detection and bottom imaging. The SS164 models operate on a frequency range of 50/200 kHz, offering broad coverage ideal for both shallow and deeper waters.

Available in 0°, 12°, and 20° tilt options, these transducers offer flexibility to suit different hull shapes and installation requirements.
