The Simrad SS175M stainless steel CHIRP thru-hull transducers are designed specifically for steel or aluminum hull boats, such as commercial fishing vessels, charter boats, and tournament anglers' vessels. Operating on low CHIRP frequencies from 40 to 75 kHz, these transducers provide a total bandwidth of 35 kHz from one unit, covering popular fishing frequencies including 50 kHz. The broadband CHIRP technology offers bottom detection down to 3,000 meters (10,000 feet) with 5 to 10 times greater detail and resolution, allowing precise differentiation between baitfish, gamefish, and underwater structures.

Constructed with durable steel housing, these transducers come with a 9-pin black connector and offer depth and fast-response water temperature sensing. They are available in three tilted element configurations (0°, 12°, and 20°) to accommodate different hull shapes and optimize sonar performance.
